A pretty, detached, cottage with a large private garden and pool, for up to six people (including children ), situated in the peaceful Provencal countryside of the hamlet of La Galine, at the foot of the Alpilles and just 3 km from the vibrant and fashionable town of Saint Rémy de Provence.
Set in 2,500 square metres of private grounds, the property is fully furnished, with a large living/dining room (approx. 30 square metres), stone-fireplace with wood burning fire, exposed beams, a large dining table with six chairs, a dresser and french-windows leading out onto the front and rear gardens.
The house sleeps six people in three bedrooms, one with king size bed (200cm), one with double bed (180cm) and one with two singles (90cm).
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, two refrigerators with freezer compartments, dishwasher, washing machine, filter and espresso coffee machines, toaster and kettle. There is an iron and ironing board. All cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided along with a selection of cookery books.
The bathroom has a bath with hand shower attachment, a separate walk-in Italian shower, wash basin, cupboard space, wc and hairdryer. There is also a second separate wc.
The private garden, tree-lined on one side and benefiting from sunshine all day long, has a large lawn and terrace looking out over the fields and countryside beyond. Close to the terrace, there is an in-ground swimming pool (8m x 3.5m and 1.2m deep). The pool is cleaned and maintained from May to October. Garden tables and chairs, sun loungers, umbrellas and a Weber barbecue are all provided. At the far end of the garden is an orchard (please help yourselves to fruit when in season) with a stone table and benches, a perfect spot to catch the last rays of the evening sun and enjoy an aperitif! There is a variety of bird life to watch, including eagles from time to time.
There is a flat-screen TV with French and English channels, a radio/CD player with iPod docking station, free wi-fi, a DVD player and an assortment of cds, dvds, books and games including boules.
Off road parking for 2/3 plus cars.
No smoking / vaping or EV charging .
